Exploring Bangalore old city | market area

Early morning | street yet to wake up
Here are some of the pictures of Old part of Bangalore. I went for a early morning walk with my friend to explore the lanes and narrow streets. There is much to be seen there, but this little walk already was enough as a start to appreciate what we commonly miss in our daily life of work and home.

  1. Nice pictures. During my days in Bengaluru, I often visited this area. I remember passing by the house in picture 8.

  2. Thank you Siddeshwar! These lanes and their houses have such intimacy that one can connect so spontaneously with them, something I can't say for most current city environments.

  3. Hey Nikhil,

You have to visit this place at 3 or 4 in the morning. The flower vendors occupy the road at the intersection and the entire place is full of people. You would never imagine the place being crowded so early in the morning. That is the time you can shop for fresh flowers and the everyone is gone by 6AM.

    Regards,
    Rakesh
